My Story

My name is Tessa Woods. I grew up in a small town near Seattle coated with evergreens and framed by vivid sunsets. I devoted much of my undergraduate career at Western Washington University to studying the art of helping others craft their words through creative, technical, and literary courses.

I've had a passion for sharing stories with others ever since I was very young. From helping a friend through a plot hole in their newest short story to assisting colleagues reword their cover letters, I have always believed in the power of lending an ear to others. When I listen to others, I am able to assess how the written word should be crafted to maximize its effectiveness.
